    I purchased a thin one in Turkey so it has replaced my microfiber towel. Microfiber is handy if you’re actually swimming and get wet, Turkish I find more practical for a beach towel to lay on or a wrap when I’m chilly. I have both a microfiber and Turkish towel. They’re like a sponge. Is cotton as good as linen when it comes to drying, lack of stench, etc? They actually also sell textile things like towels sheets robes, they have a strange brand identity I agree but their stuff is very nice in my opinion, if you can find a store in person that way you Just search for a linen towel on Amazon, lots of them at various sizes including kitchen and scarf size as you mentioned.
